NEWCASTLE will target Nathan Ake, Sven Botman and Dominic Calvert-Lewin after completing a deal for Hugo Ekitike, according to reports.
The Toon, under new technical director Dan Ashworth, are set to kick off a bumper summer of spending by signing Ekitike from Reims for £25.6million.
The teenage forward will be far from Newcastle's last signing in the upcoming window, with Eddie Howe targeting a number of other players.
According to the Telegraph, the Magpies boss is prioritising moves for a forward and a centre-back.
In addition to 19-year-old Ekitike, Howe would like to recruit a more experienced frontman.
Everton's England international Dominic Calvert-Lewin fits the bill, although the Toffees are reluctant to sell.

Newcastle could firm up their interest by making a formal bid, in the hope that the 25-year-old demands to leave Goodison Park.
Howe, 44, is also hoping to further bolster his defence and could look to reunite with Nathan Ake, having worked with him at Bournemouth.
Manchester City have so far put Newcastle off by demanding £50m for his signature.
The Toon are interested but will require City to lower their asking price.

They could move for Lille defender Sven Botman instead.
Newcastle tried to sign the Dutchman in January to no avail and will have to compete with AC Milan if they are to sign him this summer.
The Toon are determined to sign Ake or Botman – but won't sign both even if the opportunity arises as they would occupy the same role within Howe's squad.
