Nottingham Forest looking to raid Huddersfield in Harry Toffolo transfer after missing out on full-back Djed Spence | The Sun

NOTTINGAM FOREST are considering a move for Huddersfield full-back Harry Toffolo, according to reports.

Forest look set to miss out on Djed Spence of Middlesbrough, who spent last season helping the side gain promotion to the Premier League while on loan at the club.

Tottenham appear in pole position to sign him so Steve Cooper's men are turning their attention to other targets like Toffolo.

The Athletic are reporting that Forest are set to bid for the left-back.

Toffolo was one of Huddersfield's standout players last season as they narrowly missed out on promotion to Forest, losing the play-off final.

The 26-year-old played 48 games for Town last campaign scoring six goals and assisting eight.

However his future remains reportedly uncertain as negotiations over a long-term deal have not progressed.

Forest are also set make an improved offer for Liverpool's Neco Williams, claim The Athletic.

Reports suggest Liverpool rejected Forest's bid and are holding out for the £15million they want.

Meanwhile, the newly promoted club are targeting a move for Manchester United goalkeeper Dean Henderson.

A SunSport exclusive said the deal could be announced within a week.

This comes as a result of current No.1 Brice Samba potentially wanting to leave the club.

It could be their second big deal of the summer after completing the transfer of Taiwo Awoniyi from Union Berlin.

The striker arrives for a fee of £17million.
