Premier League Darts odds ahead of night eight in Newcastle

Premier League Darts returns to our screens this week as Gerwyn Price looks to make it back-to-back night wins as the Iceman prepares to face compatriot Jonny Clayton. His win last week in Nottingham confirmed Michael van Gerwen's impressive run on night wins after he was thrashed 6-0 to Chris Dobey.

But the former rugby union player is priced at 4/1 to win the night in Newcastle while Mighty Mike is the bookies favourite at 2/1 with Betfred. Despite his performance last week, Hollywood Dobey is a longshot at 12/1 to win despite an impressive performance against MvG last week and seeing off Michael Smith in the quarter-finals too – with Bully Boy priced the same as Price at 4/1.

The evening will start off with MvG facing Scottish player Peter Wright at the Utilita Arena – which the Dutchman won convincingly 6-1 before failing to pick up a single leg against Dobey. Fourth-place Nathan Aspinall will be looking to keep his place in the play-off places as he faces Belgian Dimitri van den Bergh who is just two points from The Asp. Price will face Clayton again this week too after beating The Ferret last week before the quarter-finals session ends with Bully Boy against Hollywood.

Here are the odds on the Night Eight outright winner:

  • Michael van Gerwen – 2/1
  • Michael Smith – 4/1
  • Gerwyn Price – 4/1
  • Peter Wright – 10/1
  • Dimitri van den Bergh – 10/1
  • Nathan Aspinall – 11/1
  • Jonny Clayton – 11/1
  • Chris Dobey – 12/1
