A RACEHORSE given a brilliant name in honour of the late Queen has made best friends with an adorable little corgi.
Trainer Paul Nicholls' promising young gelding named Thank You Ma'am hit it off with a corgi called Sam.
The Queen was well known for her love of the breed – meeting her first corgi when she was just six-years-old.
And Queen Elizabeth II also had a passion for horses.
That made the recent meeting between Thank You Ma'am and rescue dog Sam even more wholesome.
The four-year-old took a break from training to meet the pooch in Berkshire.

While champion trainer Nicholls is eyeing Cheltenham Gold Cup glory with Bravemansgame later this month, Thank You Ma'am has been tipped as one to watch for the future.
Nicholls said on the prospect: "He’s got a cracking pedigree, so looks the part on paper and I hope we can have plenty of fun with him.
"I’m looking forward to Cheltenham and to Bravemansgame’s outing and, you never know, in a couple of years Thank You Ma’am could be at Cheltenham."
Thank You Ma’am will be introduced to the sport in a point-to-point fixture at Bangor on March 12.

However, the promising young horse is destined to run over jumps later in his career.
While Thank You Ma'am is one for the future, King Charles looks set to have a big Festival fancy in less than a fortnight's time.
Punters can buy a share in Thank You Ma’am for £50 plus VAT through racing club The Posh Pundit, managed by Rupert Adams.
Adams said: "The kind of syndicate we’re putting together will hopefully bring racing to the masses, it’s giving people the opportunity to be a racehorse owner for £50, whereas there are horses out there that cost millions."
