Scott McTominay looks shredded as Man Utd star shows off astonishing body transformation after hitting gym | The Sun

MANCHESTER UNITED ace Scott McTominay has undergone a stunning body transformation ahead of this coming season.

McTominay has dedicated the early stages of pre-season to working out at the gym and he's now revealed just how much it's paid off.

The midfielder shared snaps on his personal Instagram page posing with some hard muscles and an incredible six pack.

The Scotland international struggled during United's worst ever Premier League campaign and is now looking to win over new manager Erik ten Hag.

The 25-year-old means business and Red Devils fans were left baffled at the sight of his extreme makeover.

One supporter tweeted: "Looks like he's eaten [Cristiano] Ronaldo."

Another posted: "How do you even get Mctominay’s body? Like wtf man, what do I have to do to get a body like that?"

And a third wrote: "Has McTominay hung up his boots to pursue a career as a fitness model?"

McTominay has come a long way from the 5ft 6in 18-year-old who United youth-team coaches doubted would make it to the top level.

The Scot experienced a miraculous growth spurt at the end of 2015 as he soared to 6ft 4in, before completing his development with his shredded figure.

McTominay previously said: "It's just more of the fact that my body was not ready at all.

"I always knew I was going to be quite tall but maybe not that tall.

"I think when I was 13 or 14, if I was at another club who weren't as patient with me as I was smaller and not playing games, I think they might have thought, 'We'll just get rid of him'.

"I couldn't fault United when I was growing up and how they treated me. How it's panned out has obviously been really good."
