SERGIO RAMOS broke down in tears after rejoining his beloved boyhood club Sevilla.
Ramos welled up as he recalled how he was booed when he played against Sevilla for Real Madrid, which left his grandad in tears at the time.
Ramos, 37, is back in Spain after two seasons in France with Paris Saint-Germain.
Sevilla pounced for the centre-back on a free transfer, with SunSport exclusively revealing a late offer from Manchester United too.
And the deal sees Ramos return to his boyhood club, who he left in 2005 for Real Madrid.
Ramos played 50 times for Sevilla before joining Los Blancos, where he won five titles and four Champions Leagues.

And after scoring twice for Real at Sevilla in 2018, he was showered with abuse from home fans while his sobbing grandfather watched on.
Ramos, Spain’s all-time leading appearance holder with 180 caps, opened up on the emotional experience during his welcome interview with Sevilla.
And as he broke down in tears, Ramos said: “It makes me emotional to talk about my grandfather.
“In the end we have been Sevilla fans since birth. The last memory of my grandfather is very ugly, leaving here crying and seeing how people whistled and booed for his grandson.

“Obviously when making a decision I took it into account. We didn’t deserve it.
“Neither as a family nor as fans, I think it harmed and penalised all of us. When a point like this arrives, you receive many offers. I don’t like to talk.
“We had the opportunity to continue in Paris. Far from my house, from both Seville and Madrid. One reflects and sees how the years go by, and the opportunities went by too.
“There are things in life that you cannot buy with money. It’s always the right decision. My heart asked me to return home."
Fans reacted sympathetically to Ramos' honest take, with one saying: "He’ll always be one of the greatest. Probably top 3 in his generation."
Another added: "That legend deserves a better treatment from Sevilla supporters they didn’t do the same with Alves and Rakitic."

Talking about his goals with Sevilla, Ramos added: “I had a debt with Sevillismo. I wanted to fix it as soon as possible. I also had a debt with Puerta, with Reyes, and with people who move you.
“I wanted to be a main act and I didn’t see the possibility of going away. I think it was time. The team of my soul has always been Sevilla.
“What was left in the past must stay in the past. I apologised to Sevillismo. I am very passionate and I have always said it out loud. I apologise.
“We are the same family and we defend the same shield. Even though they whistled me playing for Madrid, when I heard the Sevilla anthem I got goosebumps.
“The one who took me to train was my grandfather Pepin and my grandfather Juan, one a taxi driver and the other, a gas driver. Part of my success is because of them.
