Sex-mad tennis fans warned to steer clear of romps and drugs parties in park queue by wealthy Wimbledon residents | The Sun

WIMBLEDON residents have warned horny tennis fans against any raunchy doubles action after being left sick of sex and drugs parties.

The major tournament at SW19 starts on Monday and runs until Sunday, July 10, with those living nearby fearing the worst.

Many fans camp overnight at Wimbledon Park before joining the lengthy queue for tickets, but the woodland is also a hotspot for doggers and swingers.

SunSport told you in 2019 how locals pinned up a poster on a fence to ask campers to respect the park.

But it doesn't appear to have done the trick, as shown by a picture obtained by the Daily Star.

A note from a worried resident has been pinned up on a tree in Wimbledon Park.

One concerned resident told the Star: "In the summer all sorts goes on in the woods.

"But during Wimbledon fortnight, especially if the weather gets hot, people get carried away and pop into the woods.

“I’ve seen couples having sex, drugs parties, everything really.

“With so many fans camping in the park it turns into a big party after dark and people just get carried away especially if they’ve been knocking back the Pimms all day.

“We’ve put notices up in the past, but they just get ripped down.

“Hopefully the police will step up their patrols this year and kick out anyone they catch wanting a love match.”
