Sent off 5-1, he should have been 1-5 as he skipped over the soft ground while others could barely crawl.
Punters were absolutely stunned by the colossal winning margin – which never looked in doubt even at half-way.
Superstars such as Paddington, Chaldean and Nashwa could only watch in envy as Big Rock scooted home under Aurelien Lemaitre.
Facteur Cheval was second at 14-1 completing a 1-2 for France in the mile contest.
While Dermot Weld's wondermare Tahiyra was third under jockey Chris Hayes.
One commentator described Big Rock's win as 'absolutely mindblowing'.
