Ten fastest Premier League players of last three years revealed with promoted ace second & unlikely Liverpool star third | The Sun

THE ten fastest Premier League players of the last three years have been revealed.

And there are some surprising results, with a promoted ace second and an unlikely Liverpool star third.

Footy fans in England’s top flight love seeing a superstar floor it down the field.

There’s nothing quite like someone bombing along the wing before setting up a teammate or – better yet – netting a goal themselves.

Boffins at Stats Perform have been sweating facts and crunching stats in order to create a list of the league’s top speedsters over the past three seasons.

Unsurprisingly, Manchester City star Kyle Walker leads the way with a mind-blowing speed of 37.31 km/h.

Despite turning 34 next season, he continues to make mincemeat of younger players in a foot race.

And after penning a new deal with City, Walker is showing no signs of slowing down.

Meanwhile, second place on the list goes to Chiedozie Ogbene.

The Irish forward has only made four Premier League appearances in his career, with all of them coming this term with newly-promoted Luton Town.

But that hasn’t stopped Ogbene from making his mark, whizzing along the pitch at an incredible 36.93 km/h.

Elsewhere, third place goes to another new face in the top flight.

Dominik Szoboszlai only signed for Liverpool last month from RB Leipzig.

But he’s already made a huge impact at Anfield, managing to hit a top speed of 36.76 km/h from midfield.

Also sliding into the list is former Chelsea defender Antonio Rudiger, now at Real Madrid.

He’s closely followed by Tottenham’s Brennan Johnson, who hit his top speed with former side Nottingham Forest.

Coming next are Liverpool’s Mo Salah, Brighton’s Tariq Lamptey and Fulham’s ex-Wolves winger Adama Traore – all hitting 36.64 km/h.

The top ten is rounded off by Chelsea’s Mykhailo Mudryk and Newcastle’s Anthony Gordon, formerly of Everton.

And if you got all of them in a team with a speedy sweeper keeper, there could be no stopping them.
