Tyson Fury claims he’d beat Oleksandr Usyk ‘on ONE week’s training’ as he taunts ‘bodybuilder’ Anthony Joshua over loss | The Sun

TYSON FURY believes he would beat Oleksandr Usyk with just ONE WEEK of training.

The Ukrainian, 35, defeated Anthony Joshua for a second time over the weekend to defend his world heavyweight titles.

He now appears to be on a collision course with Fury – who has the WBC belt – as the division prepares to crown an undisputed champion for the first time since Lennox Lewis.

But Fury, who insists he will only come out of retirement for £500million, does not feel Usyk poses a threat to him whatsoever.

Speaking to talkSPORT, he said: "I could beat Usyk on a week’s training! Because he’s a middleweight, I’ll put my fists right through him.

"When Usyk was amateur boxing, sucking his mother’s nipples, I was the British heavyweight champion.

“He was boxing at 75 kilograms as an amateur. 75kg!? This is why I call him a middleweight.

"I’ve never said it won’t be easy work. All this ‘pound-for-pound legend’ nonsense, I don’t rate him!"

Fury also took aim at Joshua after plans for an all-British dust-up were curtailed by AJ's third professional defeat in Saudi Arabia on Saturday night.

The Gypsy King added: "I have no real interest in Usyk. Some man that nobody can really say his name? A pumped-up middleweight?

"It’s not my fault he’s gone and battered AJ, some bodybuilder! It’s not my fault that happened twice in a row.

"There has only ever been me. They try to compete, but they get beat. There’s no disrespect to Joshua – but at top-level, world-class boxing, he just can’t cut it."

Usyk insisted after his win over Joshua that he will not fight unless it is against Fury.

And he hit back at the WBC champ after Fury claimed he could beat Usyk and Joshua on the same night.

He simply said: "That's what he's dreaming every day. I'm gonna beat his ass."
