UFC fighter Jeff Molina has come out as bisexual after a video of him performing a sex act on another man was leaked on social media.

In a statement on Twitter, the 25-year-old said: ‘Welp.. this f***ing sucks. Not the way I wanted to do this but the chance to do it when I was ready was taken from me.’

‘I’ve tried to keep my dating life private from social media. I’ve dated girls my whole life and suppressed feelings I had throughout high school being on the wrestling team, throughout college pursuing MMA, and even after making part of the dream happen and getting into the UFC.

‘I’m a pretty masculine dude and that bro-y banter and sus sense of humor has always been how I am.

‘The thought of my buddies, team-mates and [people] I look up to looking at me different – let alone treating me different – for something I can’t control was something I couldn’t fathom.

‘In a sport like this where a majority of the fans being the homophobic cocksuckers they are I didn’t see myself doing this during this part of my career.

‘I wanted to be known for my skills and what I’ve dedicated the last 11 years of my life to and not the ‘bi UFC fighter’ that I’m sure would be translated to ‘gay UFC fighter.

‘To the awful disturbed person that decided to post this ishh I hope it was worth it.

‘At the end of the day I know my character, morals, and who I am as a person. As much as I’m getting hated on I’m getting an equal amount of support.’

Last year, Molina spoke out against negative comments he received when he wore shorts featuring a rainbow design for pride month.

‘Who the f*** cares bro? it’s not even about being an ally,’ he said.

‘I’m not saying I’m not but just like, be a decent f***ing person. Just be a decent human being.

‘Judging someone and trying to justify it with religion and saying all sorts of spiteful, hateful s*** is crazy to me, it’s mind-boggling. Who cares who someone wants to be with, or their sexual preference.

‘I just thought in 2022 people would be a little more open-minded and not pieces of sh*t. But I guess I was wrong.’

Molina is currently suspended from UFC for his alleged role in a betting scheme. He was suspended by the Nevada State Athletic Commission in December.

The 25-year-old is suspected of having ‘substantial involvement’ with the ‘gaming scheme currently under ongoing investigation related to [MMA coach] James Krause,’ Nevada deputy attorney general Joel Bekker said in January according to ESPN.

Molina, a five-foot-six, 125-pound fighter, has an 11-2-0 record in UFC.

His last fight was against Zhalgas Zhumagulov on June 4 of last year.

He won that bout by split decision.
