DUSTIN POIRIER has all-but closed the door on a fourth fight with Conor McGregor and urged his rival to take a different route.
The pair of lightweights have a storied history dating back to 2014 when McGregor won their featherweight original in the first round.
But Poirier returned the favour in January 2021 with a KO before all hell broke loose in the trilogy decider.
McGregor snapped his leg just seconds before the end of round one, technically losing, but it left him enraged and calling for a fourth bout.
But with a year now removed, Poirier is ready to move on.
He said on the DC & RC Show: "I’m probably not going to fight Conor again. I don’t really want to fight Conor again.

"If I do it again, it’s just for money, right? So that’s a completely different thing."
McGregor, 34, has spent the last year rehabilitating and recovering from the broken tibia suffered at UFC 264.

And he is building towards a comeback fight, which Poirier, 33, believes should be against Justin Gaethje, 33.
