Want tickets to NCAA Tournament at Ball Arena? Some face-value seats may become available Thursday.

Fans wanting tickets to March Madness at Ball Arena have one half-court heave left if they don’t want to go through second-hand sellers or brokers.

Mountain West officials told The Denver Post that none of the seven teams that are locked into the Ball Arena site for the NCAA men’s basketball tournament this weekend returned any tickets for resale as of the 5 p.m. Tuesday deadline.

However, there is one more team with a slot in Denver to fill — the winner of Wednesday night’s play-in game between 11th-seeded Arizona State and 11th-seeded Nevada in Dayton, Ohio. The squad that advances out of Dayton will meet sixth-seeded TCU on Friday night.

The Mountain West said the winner of that play-in game has until Thursday to turn in any unsold or unwanted tickets for public sale.

As of early Tuesday evening, no face-value tickets for the games at Ball Arena were available via Ticketmaster.com. Resale tickets for the first session Friday were going for as low as $96 before fees on VividSeats.com; the site’s cheapest get-in price for the evening session was $110 before fees.
