CONOR McGREGOR has released never-before-seen sparring footage – which he watched with his youngest son.

The Irishman uploaded the video on Twitter, before quickly deleting it.


It showed McGregor exchanging strikes, landing a headkick and sharp boxing combinations.

The sparring session is believed to have been before his rematch loss to Dustin Poirier in January 2020, which ended in a second-round knockout.

McGregor, 34, went on to lose his trilogy bout with Poirier, 33, in July after breaking his leg before the end of round one.

He has spent the period since rehabilitating and recovering followinga successful surgery last year.

McGregor is currently filming a reboot of Roadhouse alongside Jake Gyllenhaal.

And he also appears to be in the Dominican Republic, where he watched back his sparring session with his youngest son.

McGregor posted on Instagram: "Watching sparring footage with my youngest son Rían in the Dominican Republic.

"We have decades banked."

McGregor recently revealed training footage at his Straight Blast Gym in Ireland.

He said: "I’ve truly developed a nowhere to go for my opponent scenario. I am telling you. I am light years ahead.

"And I’m always hunting the neck. And I don’t give a f*** where we end up, I’ll hurt you."
