A BRAZILIAN football team left fans baffled after they were spotted with TWELVE players on the pitch, before officials quickly realised their mistake.
The bizarre incident came in a Copa Sudamericana clash between Brazil's Santos and Bolivia's Blooming on Thursday.
With 18 minutes on the clock in the second half, Santos boss Paulo Turra made three changes.
He planned to bring Guilherme Camacho, Miguel Terceros and Lucas Barbosa on for Lucas Lima, Rodrigo Fernandez and Stiven Mendoza.
But just two players made their way off the field as Camacho remained.
The trio of substitutes came on for the final 26 minutes as referee Augusto Bergelio Aragon Bautista resumed play.

He swiftly brought play to a halt and sent Camacho off as the game returned to 11 vs 11.
And that was not the only confusing incident during the match.
With 15 minutes remaining, the stadium announcer confirmed the attendance and income of the match.
