Watch moment unlucky cyclist crashes into mountain of MANURE and commentator can't help but laugh | The Sun

A CYCLIST ended up in “deep s***” as he competed in the Grand Prix de Denain race.

AG2R Citroen Team cyclist Stan Dewulf, 25, was left with a bad taste following the now viral incident this week in France.

UAE Team Emirates star Juan Sebastian Molano won the annual race.

However, it was Dewulf, rather than the Colombian, who has stolen the headlines after his unfortunate crash.

And even the commentator was struggling to contain her laughter as the Belgian hurtled off the road straight into a huge pile of manure.

GCN Racing announcer Jode Been said between chuckles: “Ooh that is going to be smelly.

Even the GCN Racing Twitter account saw the funny side as they shared the footage along with the caption: “Luckily @Stan_Dewulf1 had a soft landing when crashing at #GPDenain today…manure!

“That’s one smelly crash for the @AG2RCITROENTEAM rider!”

Fortunately the rider escaped unscathed and even continued the race and afterwards he saw the funny side as he wrote on Instagram: "You could that I had a s****y day. Literally."

One Twitter user wrote: “Oh yes, the charm and smells of the countryside…..”

Another commented: “What a s****y way to lose a race. #dadjokes #cycling.”

A fellow fan joked: “Well, he already had brown shorts.”

While another praised Dewulf for finishing the race despite him landing himself in "deep s***".

They said: “The 2022-23 season and how to deal with it. Yes he flies headlong into a pile of s***, but he picks himself up and carries on.”
