West Ham fans in meltdown as Declan Rice does NOT feature in kit reveal amid Man Utd, City and Chelsea transfer interest | The Sun

WEST HAM have released their new home kit ahead of next season, but there is one curious absence that will have fans concerned.

Captain Declan Rice, who has been linked with a move away this summer, is nowhere to be seen in the launch.

The Hammers are confident of keeping the £150million midfielder this summer but the absence of the club's biggest player from their kit launch will have some supporters feeling uneasy.

“Yo @_DeclanRice where you at? I’m stressed you’re not there dancing,” asked one on Twitter.

Another, along with a puzzled face emoji, said: “Has anyone seen Declan Rice in the new kit yet?”

Rice has rejected three offers of a new contract at the London Stadium since last summer and has made his ambition to play in the Champions League clear.

West Ham could have qualified for Europe's top competition by winning the Europa League last season but they were knocked out in the semi-finals by Eintracht Frankfurt.

Despite the England international snubbing the offer of a new deal, West Ham are in a strong position.

Rice has two years remaining on his current deal with the club holding the option of a third year.

Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City have also closely tracked Rice in recent years but none have ever made a formal offer.

The Hammers have slapped a huge valuation on Rice's head and insist they will not sell their start man this summer.

West Ham's new strip, which is inspired by the kit worn by Billy Bonds' promotion winning team from 1992/93, was modelled by Jarrod Bowen, Ben Johnson, Manuel Lanzini, Lukasz Fabianski and Said Benrahma – who himself could be sold this summer.

Ex-Hammers Carlton Cole, Marlon Harewood and James Collins also featured in the launch.
