CONOR McGREGOR has branded UFC welterweight Jorge Masvidal as a "loser" while also bringing the American's mum into their rivalry.
MMA star Masvidal is desperate to face the Notorious inside octagon after making him his No1 target.
The 37-year-old, who hasn't won a fight since 2019, believes that a bout with McGregor would break pay-per-view records, but it may need to happen soon.
Speaking to MMA Fighting recently, Gamebred, who was born to a Cuban father and Peruvian mother, declared that he doesn't believe the Notorious will ever face him.
He said: "No, Conor doesn’t want the fight. If he did he’d post something, he’d say something.
"He’d probably just insult my mom (sic) or some relative of mine or my nation where I come from. He’ll say something like that but he won’t say anything about a fight or a fight date."

Before adding: "I think we’d shatter all numbers, all previous records. But for some reason this guy doesn’t want to entertain it.”
McGregor, who is still out injured after breaking his leg last year, was quick to fire back at the 35-16 fighter on social media as he commented on Masidal's mum comment.
In a now-deleted tweet, he said: "Insult your mom?
"What a loser you are mate. Me and your mom get along."

Masvidal then took to Twitter to respond, as he quipped: "Yeah my mom loves you man.
"She knows you are about to be the biggest paycheck for me and a relatively easy fight."
In an exclusive interview with SunSport, the two-time world title challenger claimed he would send McGregor into retirement if the pair ever fought each other.
He remarked: "I don’t think he’s going to fight period again, I definitely don’t think he fights after me.
“Just like I was a cancer to Nate Diaz’s style and brand, because he’s like this tough guy and like, ‘Man, I’m going to stand toe-to-toe with anybody and go to war and everybody’s going to run from me.’
“Nah. Wrong, I’m going to get in your face and make you back down. Same thing with Conor.
“He’s not going to be able to say he took me down and held me down, he’s going to say, this guy kneed me in the ribs, elbowed me in the eye socket and then knocked me the f*** out.
