Maro Itoje is a professional rugby union player who plays as a lock.
He was born on October 28, 1994, and has been a regular in the England rugby union team since 2016, helping the side win three Six Nations.
He played at blindside flanker for the entire 2017 Six Nations, but his club Saracens usually select him at lock.
He has played for Saracens since 2013, winning the Gallagher Premiership on four occasions, and the European Champions Cup in 2016, 2017 and 2019.

Saracens were relegated at the end of the 2019/20 season for salary cap breaches, but Itoje stayed loyal to the club, as they went straight back up the following season.
He also helped England reach the 2019 Rugby World Cup Final, beating Australia and New Zealand, before losing 32-12 to South Africa in Tokyo.
He has been selected to play for the British and Irish Lions in both 2017 against New Zealand and 2021 against South Africa.

He was named the Lions player of the series for his performances against South Africa, who ultimately won the three-test series 2-1.
