William Saliba 'agrees shock new Arsenal contract' despite NEVER playing official game for Gunners in three years | The Sun

WILLIAM SALIBA has reportedly agreed a shock new Arsenal contract.

That’s despite NEVER playing a single official game for the Gunners in three years.

Saliba is currently with Mikel Arteta’s squad for their pre-season tour of the US, starting in the win over Everton.

And Freddie Paxton claims Saliba, 21, agreed to extend his Arsenal contract before flying to the States.

Arteta made the move after being left impressed by Saliba’s development last season.

And the Frenchman could now be set for an important role in the new campaign after seeking assurances over his playing time.
