WREXHAM fans loved the response of owner Ryan Reynolds when asked about whether he would be in attendance at this year's Met Gala.

The Hollywood star snubbed this year's event in New York, United States.


And he appeared to have absolutely no problem in missing it due to his commitment to Wrexham.

When asked about his attendance at the Gala, Reynolds told Hollywood Access: "We'll be in the UK.

"We have Wrexham business to deal with."

And fans online loved his reaction, with one saying: "Good man."

Wrexham are set to commence their trophy parade later today following their promotion to the Football League after their record-breaking season which saw them win the National League with 111 points.

Thousands of fans are expected to attend after the club ended their 15-year exile, including Reynolds.
