York Ebor horse racing tips: Templegate NAPS unstoppable mare to obliterate her rivals on day two | The Sun

TEMPLEGATE takes on day two of the York Ebor Festival supremely confident of banging in a fair few winners.

Read on for our man's top Knavesmire tips and don't forget to back a horse by clicking their odds below.

ALPINISTA (3.35 York, nap)

She is a four-time Group 1 winner in Europe and can land her first British win at the highest level. She was second in this race two years ago but has taken a big leap forward since.

DRAMATISED (1.50 York, nb)

She was so impressive when winning the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot. She powered through the line so this extra furlong should be ideal. It’s a slight worry that we haven’t seen her since but she’s the form pick.

ONE NATION (4.45 York, treble)

He looks the one to beat after a smooth Newmarket success last month. He only had two to beat but did it nicely. He’s been hiked 8lb but has a lot more to come.

IT is hard to get away from DRAMATISED who was so impressive when winning the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot.

She powered through the line so this extra furlong should be ideal. It’s a slight worry that we haven’t seen her since but she’s the form pick.

Kinta handled the step up from a maiden to the Group 3 Princess Margaret at Newmarket last month. She was a good second and has more to offer.

Mawj was second at Royal Ascot before beating Kinta’s conqueror Lezoo in the Duchess Of Cambridge at HQ.

Ray Dawson keeps the ride and she’s a contender. Kerindia had no luck in running at Deauville last time and looks a big each-way price for in-form Michael Bell.

2.25

RICHARD Hannon has won four of the past six runnings and his SHOULDVEBEENARING has been laid out for this after winning nicely at Ripon in May.

He has lots of pace for this trip and looks certain to improve.

Dare To Hope shaped well on handicap debut here last month when a solid second. He can take a step forward from that.

Remarkable Force caught the eye at Goodwood when fifth in a big field. He was gaining quickly at the line and should be closer to to the pace here.

Matching Sox was a Kempton winner on debut and can figure if repeating that on turf.

3.00

TYRRHENIAN SEA ran well when fourth in a Windsor Listed race last time. He travels strongly so should love the guaranteed breakneck pace here. This trip is ideal and he can improve for Roger Varian.

Cruyff Turn won this 12 months ago and has every chance of following up. He won again over this course and distance in May and is only 3lb higher today.

Echo Point has been knocking on the door and enjoyed dropping to this trip when second at Newmarket last time with the third a long way back. A repeat of that can take him close.

Similar comments apply to Blue For You who went close in the Golden Mile at Goodwood. He was hampered there and may have won with a clear run.

Saga didn’t fire at Ascot latest but went close in the Britannia at the Royal meeting so can’t be ruled out.

3.35

ALPINISTA is a four-time Group 1 winner in Europe and can land her first British win at the highest level.

She was second in this race two years ago but has taken a big leap forward since. The daughter of Frankel won the Lancashire Oaks last summer before taking three of the biggest races in Germany.

Sir Mark Prescott’s star came back from eight months off to beat the boys in the Grand Prix De Saint Cloud in good style last time.

Connections are aiming for the Arc and this will be a good stepping stone.

Tuesday was impressive in winning the Oaks in June before finding the Irish Derby too much last time.

She’s had a little rest since then and will be a lot happier against these rivals.

La Petite Coco surprised everyone by winning the Group 1 Pretty Polly Stakes in great style at The Curragh in June.

She would ideally like a little cut in the ground but has place claims.

Magical Lagoon battled to take the Irish Oaks last month on the back of her Ribblesdale victory at Royal Ascot. That’s high level form.

Raclette scored nicely at Longchamp. This is tougher but trainer Andre Fabre doesn’t travel unless he thinks he can win.

4.10

GOLDEN LYRA was a Listed second over 1m2f at Newbury on just her second run before an easy win at Kempton last time.

This longer trip suits better and she’s the one to beat.

Mimikyu was impressive when taking a Newmarket handicap and has a lot more to come for Gosden and Dettori.

Haskoy caught the eye with an impressive debut success at Wolver and will take a major step forward for Ralph Beckett.

Voodoo Queen finished strongly when winning over 1m2f on the July course and should enjoy this stiffer stamina test.

4.45

ONE NATION looks the one to beat after a smooth Newmarket success last month. He only had two to beat but did it nicely. He’s been hiked 8lb but has a lot more to come.

Fellow Charlie Appleby runner Courageous Knight was a good Epsom maiden winner and is another who can step forward.

X J Rascal has been beaten by just a neck on both handicap runs at Goodwood and Doncaster. He likes this trip and a 2lb rise is fair.

Indian Dream was just collared at Haydock and has place claims off the same mark.

Kyeema didn’t beat a lot at Catterick but is likely to improve for William Haggas.

5.20

QUEEN AMINATU landed her latest success over this trip and went close in strong company over a mile at Haydock last time. She’s off the same mark and looks hard to stop.

Adaay In Asia made it three wins in a row in the Shergar Cup at Ascot. She had earlier beaten a decent field at Goodwood and will go close if seeing out this extra furlong.

Mobadra has been flying on the all-weather over this trip and could still be ahead of the handicapper for in-form Roger Varian.

Truely Aclaimed has climbed the weights but won well on her last run over this course and distance so could nick a place.
