40 Emmerdale pictures: Caleb's fate and attacker 'confirmed' as arrest is made

Emmerdale spoiler pictures for next week confirm Caleb Miligan’s (William Ash) fate after he’s left to die in a horror attack.

The show’s newest schemer, as viewers know, attempted to con his way into Kim Tate’s (Claire King) fortune, clearly unaware of who it is that he tried to mess with.

Kim, with some assistance from Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley), expertly exposed him, leaving him with little to no allies in the village as he was exiled by his family for what he’d done.

With more enemies than one can count, Caleb will be left for dead later this week, with a huge mystery surrounding who exactly carried out the attack.

But does he die?

That would be no – well not yet anyway, with pictures for next week revealing that he’s in a serious condition in hospital, as his family members rally around him, despite their previous refusal to forgive him.

Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) is suspicious of Cain, while Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) is questioned by the police, with Kim and Gabby Thomas (Rosei Bentham) corroborating his story.

Leyla Cavanagh (Roxy Shahidi), meanwhile, is urged to tell the truth, while Mackenzie Boyd (Lawerence Robb) is quizzed by the authorities.

Charity (Emma Atkins) is concerned for her husband, however, as Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) loses faith in his innocence.

And soon enough, an arrest is made.

Charity, meanwhile, then heads to the hospital to check in on Caleb, much to Chas’ shock, with the two women arguing over Mack’s potential guilt.

Nicky (Lewis Cope) subsequently turns up to see his dad, but will he be welcomed with open arms by his new family?

Elsewhere in the village, word of Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) and Mandy’s (Lisa Riley) reunion spreads, with Chas heartbroken, while Tom King (James Chase) worries about Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper), who receives a shocking blast from the past.

Emmerdale airs these scenes between Monday June 19 and Friday June 23 at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX.
