A Place in the Sun's Lee Juggurnauth winces as woman shuts down property tour | The Sun

A PLACE in the Sun's Lee Juggurnauth winced as a woman shut down his property tour.

During a recent episode of the Channel 4 show, Ash and Anila asked the property expert to find them their dream home.

The pair told Lee that they had a budget of £135,000 and within that they were looking for three-bedrooms for their family to come and visit.

They were keen to buy in the seaside city of Torrevieja, located on Spain’s Costa Blanca.

But they certainly didn't make it easy for Lee.

After viewing the first property, they moved on to the second, and he thought he'd finally won them over.

The semi-detached house, with an asking price of £142,017, boasted a roof top with stunning views, a pool and a private terrace.

Ash was pretty keen on the property, but shared his concerns about the safety aspect for his grandkids.

He confessed: "So yeah, it's a great space absolutely. I can see myself relaxing here with a glass of wine."

But Anila wasn't feeling it and said: "I don't agree…

"I think it's a bit small and the steps are a bit precarious."

After finishing the tour Lee asked if the pad was a contender, to which Anila replied: "No, sorry Lee, I'm upset for us and for you."

It comes after A Place in the Sun fans were left in hysterics after reading a rejection letter posted by writer Ciara Knight on Twitter.

Uploading a screen grab of the rejection letter, she said: "Got rejected for A Place In The Sun," with a sad face emoji.

The letter said: "Hi Ciara, many thanks for your interest in applying to take part in A Place In The Sun.

"Unfortunately, we cannot progress with your application as the process does not involve going to the actual sun.

"The name refers to overseas travel in pursuit of buying a property, typically to a location with good (or better) weather that we have in the UK.

"While I appreciate your desire to be 'launched into the sun to never return', this is not something we can help with on this occasion.

"Best of luck in your endeavours."

For those who haven't already guessed, the post was a prank.

To make sure everyone reading the letter got it, she signed off with a man called "John Fakesurname," who was apparently the casting director of the Channel 4 show.
