AJ Odudu has broken her silence after landing a Big Brother hosting role.
Today broadcaster ITV revealed the news in a video clip that AJ would be fronting the return of the iconic show, alongside former T4 presenter Will Best, 38, when it returns on ITV2 this autumn.
AJ, 35, re-shared a clip on her social media as she broke her silence, which showed her and Will alongside the reality show’s iconic eye logo.
An excited AJ wrote to her legion of social media followers: “This is not a drill! I’m beyond excited to finally be able to say that, I am hosting Big Brother!
“I couldn't be more ecstatic to front such an iconic show and to do it alongside my amazing friend @iamwillbest is the icing on the cake. Get ready to be obsessed!
“Big Brother House, I'm coming to get you!”
The Strictly star also took to her stories to post the same video, this time writing: “Heading to the diary room,” along with an eye emoji.

And she simply posted on Twitter: "I'm so happy."
It comes after The Sun revealed that the pair were due to be formally unveiled as the show's hosts ahead of its new series this autumn.
A source said: “AJ has known since last year the Big Brother job was hers but she’s been waiting for her co-host to be confirmed.
“AJ and Will did a brilliant screen test together and their chemistry was brilliant. It was a no brainer. They are great friends too so to be able to work together is really exciting.

“They could not be more excited about joining forces to bring back Big Brother.
“AJ and Will are going to be formally announced by ITV really soon and they can’t wait to get stuck in.”
AJ will join forces with T4 presenter Will, who previously hosted talent show Dance Dance Dance alongside Alesha Dixon.
The Sun first revealed how AJ was finalising terms of her deal with ITV back in November.
She was chosen out of a legion of stars to host the show and beat off competition from stars including Alison Hammond, Emily Atack and Vick Hope.
