Sex and the City is the ultimate women’s comedy-drama that saw Carrie Bradshaw (played by Sarah Jessica Parker), Miranda Hobbs (Cynthia Nixon), Charlotte York (Kirstin Davis) and Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall) making the most of their love lives in New York City. The show ended in 2004 but its legion of fans have remained loyal and so were ecstatic to see the gang back together, bar one. There have also been some new faces introduced in the spin-off And Just Like That… with them making a comeback for this next series.

Sex and the City fans were left completely heartbroken by the shocking death of Mr Big (Chris Noth) in the first episode of And Just Like That… two years ago.

Carrie couldn’t stand to live in the same apartment anymore and so hired real estate agent Seema Patel (Sarita Choudhury) to find her somewhere else just as fabulous.

It was during their hunt for the next perfect apartment that Carrie got to know fierce Seema on a more personal level.

She saw how wildly independent she was as well as her complicated relationship with her family’s faith and the idea of an arranged marriage.

Season two is going to welcome back Seema where she will become even more involved in Carrie and her friends Charlotte and Miranda’s lives.

During an upcoming scene, Seema is going to visit her friend and world-renowned hairstylist Juan Jose to get an update on her look.

Jose is portrayed by none other than real-life celebrity hairstylist Ricardo Rojas who dabbled in the world of acting when he was younger.

Having worked with the likes of Cher, Anne Hathaway, Donatella Versace and Mariah Carey, just to name a few, he can now add Choudhury to the list.

Speaking to Express.co.uk, Rojas talked of his guest star role in the comedy-drama, working alongside Choudhury.

“I have a really great scene with Seema”, he said.

“Sarita is amazing and I had the privilege of working with such an amazing actress.

“So we had a really great scene in my salon when she came to see me and I don’t want to say anymore because it’ll be great for you to see it.”

When questioned if she gave him any advice on set, Rojas simply said there was “no time” for any major conversations due to the filming schedule.

He added: “But we had this great connection and I think the best advice [she could have given me was through] the connection we had.

“I felt like I knew she was my friend and she is very positive and it felt comfortable.”

So far though, it isn’t known when the spin-off will be back with its new episodes.

And Just Like That initially made its debut at the end of 2021, receiving mixed reviews from viewers.

Nevertheless, many enjoyed watching the more mature version of Sex and the City, following the friendships almost two decades later.

But what turn will the show take this time around as Carrie continues to adjust to a life without Big?

And Just Like That season two is expected to premiere in the summer of 2023.
