However, ex-talent manager Diomi Cordero didn't get the invite to the event, with Cloud allegedly saying that he'd prefer to be with his friends.

"Consequently, I resigned from my position that day," he said on Twitter, noting that Cloud allegedly didn't even make it to the show because airport staff refused to let him on the plane as he was "so high on drugs."

Cloud did not speak publicly about any addiction struggles or sobriety, nor did he respond to Cordero's claims.

For the next few months, Angus Cloud's ex-talent manager Diomi Cordero said that Cloud appeared to be doing well, but ended up in the wrong crowd of friends who continued to use drugs.

"Their reckless behavior and lack of regard for Angus' recovery served as a significant obstacle to his progress," the manager said.

Angus' friend says he was 'humble'

Josh Kennedy revealed Angus Cloud was also humble after he found fame on HBO's Euphoria, alongside actress Zendaya, seemingly overnight, saying: "He actually told me once before that he felt bad because there are a lot of kids that really wanna be actors and they really are trying to do that, and it's probably hard for them to get to where he was at.

"He just really cared about that a lot."

The actor's friend continued: "I thought that said a lot about his heart and his character, to still think about other people that are trying to get there.

"Some people get to that place and then they don't even care about whoever else is trying to get there.

"I've been with him out to eat in LA plenty of times, just me and him, and he'd sit there and take every picture without complaining.

"And then maybe later on in the car, he'd say, 'Oh man, it's kind of crazy. you know, I'm blessed to even be in that position to have people love me."

    'He's been through a lot'

Asked about the actor's publicized struggle with drug addiction, his friend Josh Kennedy revealed that he'd been there for his famous friend, saying: "We have had talks plenty of times. But you know, at the end of the day, you can't control everything.

"Things will just play out. Sadly, sometimes it's just terrible.

"He's been through a lot, before Euphoria really. Just problems in general, life issues, and going through situations. It's hard."

Josh explained in Oakland, nobody treated him as a celebrity as he was more like family, with most using his birth name, Conor Hickey, after his family originated from Ireland.

His friend described Angus as "kind-hearted" and someone with the biggest smile who was always the joker and rarely serious.

"He was just a good guy all the way around, I can't say anything bad about him," Josh said.
