Bankrupt Katie Price buys £50k Hummer and is back behind the wheel after two-year driving ban | The Sun

KATIE Price is back behind the wheel after being banned for a booze and cocaine-fuelled car crash.

Our exclusive pictures show the bankrupt 44-year-old in the drivers' seat of a brand new Hummer.

The £50k vehicle boasts a personalised number plate and enormous wheels.

Katie was all smiles as she was pictured stepping out of the truck's left-hand side drive from a ledge in green co-ord loungewear.

It's the first time she's been seen driving again since avoiding jail for her sixth road ban.

The reality star was instead handed a suspended term.

It's after she was rescued by a passer-by from the wreckage of her BMW X5 on the B2135 at Partridge Green, West Sussex — three miles from her home — at 6am on September 28, 2021.

She was found slumped in the passenger seat by the man, who smashed the window and dragged her to safety.

Katie was nearly twice the drink-drive limit and told cops “I don’t care” when her cocaine swab test came back positive.

She had been drinking and snorting coke all night and blew a reading of 66 micrograms of alcohol per 100ml of breath.

She told officers at the scene: “I am guilty. I had alcohol. I took drugs. I should not be driving. I admit it all.”

Katie was on her way to see a friend because she was “lonely”.

She admitted driving while disqualified, without insurance and while unfit through drink the day after the crash.

Last week Katie dodged a court hearing for a fifth time to answer questions on her bankruptcy woes.

Katie had been expected to appear in person at the bankruptcy court in London to be asked how much cash she makes from stripping off online and selling her old clothes when she finally faces the music over her monster £3.2million debts.

But officials revealed the case had been adjourned at the last minute and a new date has now been arranged for July.

Glamour model Katie has been on two lavish holidays in the last few weeks.
