BBC Breakfast star Sally Nugent was forced to apologise to her colleague on the early morning breakfast show.
Nugent was eager to confirm there should be no confusion as she accurately predicted what her reporter pal was going to say.
Before she handed over to Matt Taylor, who was ready and waiting to deliver the day's weather forecast, Sally had a go at guessing what he was about to deliver.

She confidently said: "I think there is a little bit of rain in the forecast. Morning, Matt! I'm not trying to do your job! I can't!"
Matt chuckled and responded: "You can do, with pleasure, Sally. There is a little bit of rain around this morning, but actually it's not all bad."
He then showed a viewer's picture on the screen and noted that it "isn't the kind of view you want to see on a Monday morning" as it was raining "quite heavily in and around Brighton".
Taylor urged viewers "not to lose heart," even if there is rain in the morning, as the day may brighten up as it reaches the afternoon.
He told the audience that he could see "areas of high pressure" which will help create warmer temperatures before he moved on to note that London was experiencing a lot of rain.
Luckily, Northern Ireland is set to see "a lot more sunshine develop" and the England will be treated to "an afternoon of sunny spells".
He continued on with the report before he passed back over to his colleagues in the BBC Breakfast studios.
Sally told him that the weather report was "lovely" and thanked him for the good news.
However, her co-star Jon Kay miserably retorted that it "wasn't that lovely" due to the constant rain.
Sally said that she would "go with mild in mid-October," but Jon seemed reluctant to agree before he said that he would also "take mild" for this time of the year.
Elsewhere on the BBC, One Show presenter Alex Jones was left embarrassed after Lewis Capaldi swore on live television.
When asked how he felt about topping the charts with his new single, he told the show he was "chuffed to bu****y," just weeks after he made a sexual remark on BBC Breakfast which left Naga Munchetty and Charlie Stayt with their heads in their hands.
