CAROL Kirkwood had BBC Breakfast viewers swoon over her this morning as she presented the weather.

The Scottish presenter, 60, was flooded with compliments following her appearance today.


She wore a gorgeous purple figure-hugging dress that complimented her stunning figure.

Taking to Twitter, Carol tweeted to her 230,000-strong fanbase: "Good morning xxx."

She was then flooded with compliments as fans gushed over her.

"Good morning Carol a gorgeous array of sunshine you are X X," tweeted one fan.

Another told the TV star that he was spending his day off work watching her while having a lie-in.

"Good morning gorgeous and sexy carol how are you this morning im happy i can have a lie in today as im off have a lovely day," said Peter.

Another said: "Have a lovely day, lovely lady xxxx"

Carol, who joined the BBC's Weather Centre in 1998, has won best weather presenter at the Television and Radio Industry Club (TRIC) six times.
