BBC Breakfast star Carol Kirkwood accused presenter Charlie Stayt of "not listening" to her.
The weather presenter, 60, appeared on Thursday's (October 13) instalment of the morning show and discussed today's temperatures across the country.
The Scottish star was coming to the end of her segment when she prepared to hand the reins back to the studio so that Charlie and Naga Munchetty could continue.

But it was at that moment the broadcaster could be heard saying from the studio: "That makes perfect sense."
A smiling Carol was slightly lost for words as she muttered: "Great. Thank you, Charlie. I'll take that as a compliment."
Letting out a huge laugh, Naga couldn't contain herself as Charlie jumped to defend himself.
"You know the truth, Carol. I'll be absolutely honest with you…," before the weather host responded: "You weren't listening?"
Stumbling on his words, Charlie chimed: "I wasn't… No that thing I just said just then, I wasn't actually talking about your weather. If I'm entirely honest. But your weather did make sense! So that's okay!"
"I'll take that," she giggled, adding: "Thank you, Charlie!"
Naga, 47, couldn't believe what she was hearing as she praised Carol for handling it so well that she had been brutally ignored.
"Carol you are very generous. Very very generous this morning, Carol," she added.
Charlie continued to clear up the mishap as he explained what he was really talking about were emojis.
"We were having a conversation about… Thank you, Carol," he quickly said.
The 60-year-old continued: "We were talking about emojis here in the studio and sort of why they exist at all."
"Behind us is a bit of a hint about that," Naga chimed as she pointed to the giant emojis sprawled across the screen behind the red soda.
"We were talking about that and you were asking what they were used for," Naga clarified.
