As Naga welcomed Shaimaa on the show she said: "Australia is preparing to watch its final scenes from the set of the soap Neighbours.

"The finale stars fan favourites Kylie Minogue and Jason Donovan of course. It'll be shown in the UK tomorrow evening but today Australia gets it.

"Today Australia correspondent joins us from Ramsay Street.

"Shaimaa you know what being on Ramsay Street is something you dream of when you're younger and you get to do this."

Shaimaa immediately quipped back: "How jealous are you Naga?", prompting the star to admit she was "very" jealous.

The Australian correspondent added: "I have to pinch myself a little bit that I'm here on the very day that Australia fans get to say goodbye to the longest running soap opera. This has defined a generation."

As the video was shared to the BBC Breakfast Twitter, Shaimaa added: "It's not often that I get to make @TVNaga01 jealous! Normally it's the other way round.

"Wish you were here Naga #Neighbours 'NeighboursFinale."

Naga retweeted the tweet as she shared her support for her co-star making the most of her time on Ramsay Street as the finale gears to wrap up for the final time.

Channel 5 will air the final ever episode of Neighbours on Friday, July 29 as multiple famous faces confirm their return to the iconic street.

The likes of Kylie Minogue, Jason Donovan and Margot Robbie will all be returning to the soap despite becoming incredibly successful outside of the show.

Fans are eagerly waiting the final episode, but UK viewers will need to wait another day as Australian fans watch the final show on Thursday, July 28.
