Strictly: Sally Nugent details training for Christmas special
The BBC has shared a first look at the glitzy and glamorous Strictly Come Dancing Christmas special. The annual festive show is all set to air on Christmas Day this year and it looks like fans are in for a treat for the one-off episode.
Six stars will be taking to the dancefloor to show off their best moves as they compete to win the coveted Glitterball Trophy and become the 2023 Christmas champion.
In first-look pictures released by the broadcaster, all six celebrities will be taking to the floor for a group number, complete with the usual sequins, colour and confetti.
The professionals will also be performing their own Christmas number as they’ve all adorned festive outfits for the festive offering. Judges Craig Revel Horwood, Motsi Mabuse, Shirley Ballas, and Anton du Beke will be swapping their usual gold paddles for tree-themed ones as they dish out scores for the fun performances.
Eurovision Song Contest star Sam Ryder, who represented the UK last year in the competition, will be performing with the professionals in tow.

The six stars taking part this year are broadcaster Dan Snow, EastEnders actor Jamie Borthwick, and BBC Breakfast’s Sally Nugent.
Also hoping to win over the judges will be rugby ace Danny Cipriani, singer Keisha Buchanan, and actress Tillie Amartey.
The latest update comes after the winner of the festive instalment was reportedly leaked online.
The pre-recorded episode was filmed last week in Coventry in front of a studio audience, and at the end of the programme, one couple was crowned the winner.
However, the result has reportedly already been leaked online by the infamous Strictly mole, who managed to find out the result from a member of the audience.
