BBC Strictly’s Annabel Croft confirms ‘split’ from Johannes Radebe

This Morning: Annabel Croft speaks about losing her husband

Strictly Come Dancing’s Annabel Croft has confirmed she and Johannes Radebe are parting ways in a shocking new move.

The pair are still very much a part of this year’s competition, but Annabel, 57, will have a different partner for the Strictly live tour.

Johannes, 36, won’t be a part of this year’s arena tour so instead, Annabel will be partnered with Graziano Di Prima.

The confirmed line-up for the tour was completed on Tuesday, with plenty of this year’s stars joining the show.

Annabel was announced, alongside Bobby Brazier, Angela Scanlon and Krishnan Guru-Murphy.

They join previously announced stars, Angela Rippon, Layton Williams and Ellie Leach, who is the bookies’ favourite to win the current series.

Annabel isn’t the only one who is swapping partners for the tour, Krishnan is paired with Jowita Przystal instead of Lauren Oakley.

Speaking about her inclusion in the tour, the former tennis player expressed: “I’m used to interviewing people in front of very large crowds, but to dance in arenas for many thousands of people is going to be something else.

“Dancing every week on the TV show has been such a joy, so I can’t wait for the magic of the tour and to experience it with my new tour partner, Graziano.”

Annabel and Johannes’ partnership has been loved by viewers, as the pair continue to vie for the Glitterball Trophy.

The sports star recently opened up about Strictly Come Dancing being a distraction after she sadly lost her husband Mel Coleman to stomach cancer in May.

Annabel also said she thinks her dance partner would have got on with her late husband as they have the same sense of humour.

While speaking in an exclusive conversation with Express.co.uk, she revealed: “He’d watch Johannes and pull us over to the screen and stop it, replay it and play it again and tell us how amazing he was.

“He used to have tears running down his face watching it, he was so moved by the dancing.”

Strictly Come Dancing continues at 7:25pm on Saturday on BBC One.
