Strictly Come Dancing star Dianne Buswell looks to have been involved in an awkward training room blunder with partner Bobby Brazier as she appeared to hit him in the face.
Both pro dancer Dianne and EastEnders star Bobby shared the same video on their Instagram Stories of training for their Dirty Dancing-inspired Salsa for this weekend's musicals week quarter final.
It looked as though things might not have gone totally to plan as in the slowed down clip, Dianne throws herself into a spin across the floor landing in Bobby's arms – but seems to hit him in the face as he leans backwards to try to avoid the blow.
However, it's possible that Strictly viewers could see the moment feature as part of their routine on Saturday night as Dianne captioned the clip: "And the Oscar goes to @bobbybrazier."
Dianne also shared a photo of one of the props fans can expect to see during the dance as she held a watermelon and captioned it: "No body puts Dianne in the corner," as a nod to a classic Dirty Dancing moment.
The couple will be dancing to (I've Had) The Time of My Life which famously features Patrick Swayze lifting Jennifer Grey over his head in the film, leaving fans wondering whether Bobby and Dianne will attempt the same lift.
One person commented on X: "Oh are dianne and bobby gonna be attempting that lift for musicals week you know which one i mean"
Someone else added: "Bobby and Dianne need to do the Dirty Dancing lift."
On Thursday, Dianne praised amateur dancer Bobby for how far he had come in the contest and shared her hopes that they would make the final.
She wrote on Instagram: "I just need to praise this young man for his improvement!
"Looking back at that first week of training there was no frame falling over his own feet trying to control those long limbs fast forward to last week dancing and leading one of the most beautiful dances i have had the pleasure of dancing on strictly !
"Just goes to show hard work dedication and resilience pay off ! im so so proud of US … you for being just fabulous taking everything in trusting me and the process and me for teaching you i never give myself credit but i thought i would actually pat myself on the back because wow we have both come a long way it’s been such hard work but all so worth it.
"Now let’s push to make those finals bobs you really deserve it."
Her boyfriend and former Strictly partner Joe Sugg commented: "PROGRESS we love a journey!"
