Our Yorkshire Farm’s Amanda Owen leaves fans in stitches with ‘sour’ post | The Sun

THE Yorkshire Shepherdess Amanda Owen has left her fans in stitches with a witty post about the “sour” state of current affairs.

Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has impressed her fans with her latest social media post today, which shows three of daughters out picking blackcurrants.

In the pictures, they could be seen picking the currents from bushes and enjoying some time together in the sun.

Amanda, 47, typically shares photos and updates about her family on social media several times a week. They’re usually just about her kids or the farm, but today she added a little political spice to her post.

Confirming that she has been keeping up with the news at Westminster, the Yorkshire Shepherdess chose to make a subtle dig at Boris Johnson, who resigned as the leader of the Conservative Party yesterday.

“Currant affairs can leave a sour taste,” she wrote alongside the pictures of her daughter picking currants.

Amanda added the hashtag “current affairs,” to emphasise her joke, which was well received by her fans.

“Especially if your name’s Boris! Lovely kids you have, well done!” one of her followers replied.

“They know how to handle a prickly situation!” another teased back.

They post worked on two levels, as it appears the currents weren’t all that sweet. One of Amanda’s little girls can be seen pulling a face because of their sour taste.

Amanda’s witty post amused her followers.

“Clever!” one responded, alongside several clapping emojis.
