Celebrity Big Brother star Nicola McLean has slammed Brian Dowling for how he treated her on the show.
When Nicola starred on the show back in 2011 – Brian was hosting at the time and she claims he conducted her exit chat in a particular way. Nicola said the hosts usually shut the "Big Brother eye" when they conduct their post-show interviews with the housemates – however, she said Brian decided to leave it open so she could hear the crowd's boos the whole time.
She explained: "The hosts usually always shut it so you can chat and interview properly, that's what the viewers want to see. They don't want to hear deafening boos.

"They want to hear what the housemates have to say. But Brian obviously didn't like me, so he left the doors open the whole time. So it was just boos the whole time.
"I was shocked. Again, if it was now the production would have said shut up and would have closed it. Normally, they shut the eye or whatever. It just wasn't done. And I know Emma Willis wouldn't have stood for that."
Nicola explained: "I made it very clear that I didn't think he treated me well. You can see that I was much younger there and I was vulnerable.
"You could see that if you watch it back, you can see that I'm petrified. I didn't even know why I was being booed. I knew that I hadn't done anything horrific, so I was thinking about what had been aired that made these people hate me.
"I know Emma wouldn't have let the boos happen the way they did, and she would have reassured me, but it was like he wasn't reassuring me about anything. It was just letting me sit there with my own anxiety.
"They got rid of him pretty quickly. But I always say 'Be nice to people on the way up because you never know who you'll meet on the way down'."
Big Brother airs Sunday to Thursday on ITV2 and ITVX at 9pm followed by Big Brother Late & Live at 10pm
