Revenge is a dish best served in the form of a very large bill when it comes to Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) in Emmerdale.
The local doctor was absolutely nailed by Bob (Tony Audenshaw) tonight (October 4), who was working at the B&B when Liam, Charity (Emma Atkins), Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) and Chloe (Jessie Elland) arrived for dinner.
Don’t worry, you’re not in a parallel universe, Mackenzie and Chloe didn’t double date, they turned up for their meal and just so happened to book their table right next to Charity and Liam’s.

Awkward doesn’t even touch the sides.
As Charity got drunk, Mackenzie and Chloe watched the evening unfold. Charity was drowning her sorrows after finding out that Mack and Chloe were now engaged, and chose to take Liam for dinner in the hope it would make Mackenzie jealous.
Mack and Chloe eventually upped and left, leaving a kind and slightly humiliated Liam to wonder if he should walk Charity home.
Somewhat overwhelmed with emotions, Charity stood up, told Liam that she was just using him and left.
On his own, Liam was then presented the bill by Bob.
He had a look and was puzzled to see Mack and Chloe’s meals had been put on the tab too.
Liam questioned Bob and wondered if it was an error, but Bob said that he told Mack and Chloe his newfound enemy would be paying for their meals as well.
What a serve.
Following Liam and Wendy’s (Susan Cookson) affair, Bob attempted to get revenge by punching Liam, but it resulted in him having a heart attack and being rushed to hospital.
Patiently waiting for the right moment, Bob saw an opportunity and ran with it – and it worked perfectly.
