The Chase's Bradley Walsh has taken a savage swipe at Love Island just hours after Davide Sanclimenti and Ekin-Su Cülcüloğlu were crowned the winners at the grand final.
During Tuesday’s visit to the ITV studios, the former Coronation Street star welcomed viewers back to the show as four new contestants battled it out to take home the eye-watering jackpot.
This week, the 62-year-old TV host welcomed Jan, Ellie, Roddy and Phil onto the show to put their general knowledge to the test against Anne ‘The Governess’ Hegerty.

When university student Ellie stepped up to the podium, the dad-of-two couldn’t help but take a savage swipe at her after she answered a question about Love Island correctly.
As she stepped up to the podium, Bradders asked: "In 2017, what reality dating show had more applications than Cambridge University? A) Love Island, B) First Dates C) Celebs Go Dating."
Ellie confidently turned to the game show host and said: "We're back on my territory now – I know what I'm talking about with reality dating shows.
"I think I might be alright with this one," she boasted as Bradley threw her a disappointing look.
He muttered: "That's a sad indictment for the British youth isn't it?"
The fiery red-head replied: "Well, you win money on Love Island, not so much at University."
It was at this point that Ellie learnt she had answered the question correctly as she smugly smiled at the governess from afar.
Concerned that the contestant would leave university to pursue a career on the hugely popular ITV2 dating show, he warned her not to give up her education for fame.
He advised: "Don't leave university for Love Island, it's not worth it."
Fans of the afternoon quiz show soon flooded to Twitter to echo his comments online.
One user penned: "Bradley saying how it is about Love Island #TheChase embarrassing."
Another referenced the incorrect question the star answered about Charles Dickens as they cheekily quipped: "A different kind of Dickens in Love Island. #TheChase."
A third argued: "Getting rid of a Love Island viewer can only ever be a good thing #TheChase."
