Elliott Wright – From TOWIE to Selling Sunset? Why not!

After making a name for himself in the world of reality TV on The Only Way Is Essex, Elliott Wright then jetted off to begin a new life in Marbella – choosing the path of business.

The 43-year-old opened his restaurant, Olivia's La Cala, back in 2015 and has since built up a name for himself in the Costa Del Sol – and is now venturing into property with his new company Elliott Wright Real Estate.

While it's been a few years since Elliott has ventured into TV, the star has revealed during an exclusive new chat that he hasn't ruled it out and could even be up for a Spanish-based version of Netflix smash hit Selling Sunset.

"I always love TV, it’s something I enjoy doing and there is always drama with me – it seems to follow me. I don’t watch Selling Sunset but my wife Sadie does, she says I should do it," said the reality personality.

"If you’re in my office, the teams can be quite heated and come to blows so it’s a bit like a real life Selling Sunset to be honest! It’s always in a good way though, and arguing gets the result sometimes. So, Selling Sunset, yeah, why not?"

Continuing to explain why he has opted to go into property, Elliott told us: "My real estate business is a new start up for me, I’ve been interested in property all my life, buying and selling my own properties, so I’ve been around it and never in it.

"For me, it makes sense, if people buy a house in this area then the first thing they say is ‘where are we going to eat’ and they can come to Olivia’s.

"It’s been an experience, we only opened up our office this week, we had a bit of a drama with builders and stuff, but it wouldn’t be without drama when I’m involved. There have been some bumps with staffs coming and going too, but it’s been quite smooth so far otherwise."

Elliott has had his fair share of ups and downs in recent years, following a catastrophic fire in his restaurant, which is named after his daughter Olivia, in 2021.

"My dad passed away and then months later someone set fire to my restaurant, so, it was just a nightmare. 2021 was a write-off because of that," he admitted.

"It was tough, we had built it up and then for it all to come down was awful. Financially, it was extremely difficult because it was just after the pandemic. It's been an uphill battle but we've done it, sometimes you just have to soldier on, and that's what my dad would have told me."
