All eyes will be on celebrities' red carpet looks as the BRIT Awards 2023 gets under way this evening.
The event has seen stars arrive to the event in a variety of stunning outfits, both on the red carpet and onstage – but not everything always goes to plan.
Many celebrities have suffered embarrassing fashion mishaps and wardrobe malfunctions – whether that is a tumble onstage, accidental flashes or revealing more than they had planned in their outfits.

However in true fashion, the show must go on – despite any awkward outfit moments.
Ahead of the BRIT Awards 2023, Daily Star takes a look at some of the event's biggest wardrobe malfunctions.
Geri Halliwell spills out of her dress
The Spice Girls' 1997 BRIT Awards outfits are some of the event's most famous – from Geri Halliwell's Union Jack dress, to Mel B's revealing leopard print catsuit.
They later collected an award onstage in another series of glamorous outfits – but they were about to share more than they bargained for with Geri's dazzling red sequin dress.
The singer's busty number gave both viewers and her band mates more than they had expected, as Geri accidentally spilled out of the dress onstage.
Despite this, Geri laughed off the situation – and walked off stage to continue their global domination of the charts.
Madonna's onstage tumble
Madonna's BRIT Awards 2015 performance was one of the event's most highly anticipated appearances, with hosts Ant and Dec building up the suspense throughout the show.
The music icon took to the stage and dazzled the audience with her song Living For Love, but suffered an onstage fall after a serious wardrobe malfunction.
The star's cape was supposed to be pulled off as she walked up the stairs, but it failed to unfasten properly, which meant not only did the dancers pull the cape – they pulled Madonna down with it too.
In true music legend style though, Madonna got up and carried on her phenomenal performance – showing that despite a tumble onstage, she is still one of the all time greats.
Jade Thirlwall's near red carpet flash
Little Mix's Jade Thirlwall almost suffered a red carpet knicker flash at the BRIT Awards 2017, when a strong gust of wind blew her dress upwards.
The singer had arrived at the event in a gorgeous white silk gown which showed off her curves and toned legs.
Luckily Jade realised that the wind threatened to show much more than her legs, and quickly held the dress down on the red carpet to avoid an embarrassing wardrobe moment in front of the cameras.
Montana Brown's barely there dress mishap
Love Island star Montana Brown gave fans a cheeky flash of skin in more ways than one at the BRIT Awards 2019.
While walking on the red carpet in a nude bodysuit, which was covered in a sheer layer of material, the top layer of the naked dress became caught on her body and accidentally flashed her bottom to the cameras.
Despite the mishap, Montana looked stunning as she walked down the red carpet in a matching pair of nude heels, and barely-there makeup that was framed by her gorgeous brown flowing locks.
Haim onstage wardrobe malfunction
Haim won the award for Best International Group at the BRIT Awards 2021, but group member Este suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction while onstage.
During their acceptance speech, bass guitarist and vocalist Este's was wearing a plunging black jumpsuit that fell open.
The bass guitarist and vocalist then accidentally flashed her nipple to fans watching at home, with many viewers taking to Twitter following the mishap.
One fan said: "Ain't a Brit Awards without a nip slip is it lmao," while a second added: "Congrats Haim for winning best nip slip at the Brits 2k21."
The moment didn't escape the Haim sisters either, with group members Danielle and Alana pointing out Este's wardrobe malfunction – much to her horror onstage.
