CAROL Vorderman shared stunning photos from her spa day as she posed in a towel and went make-up free.

The former Countdown host treated herself to an afternoon of pampering after recently returning from a fitness retreat in Portugal.




She took snaps in her gym gear, before stripping off to get into full relaxation mode.

The TV star said she opted for a lymphatic drainage massage to freshen up her youthful face, and fans commented on how pretty she was.

Carol, 61, told fans: "Oooh had a lovely facial this week. A lymphatic drainage massage. Just lovely….

"Tried to do some mirror selfies…not sure I succeeded…..looking all hoity toity and posh in one of them. Lols. As if. I couldn't be that if I actually tried.

Last week Carol told fans she had dropped a dress size after spending a few weeks at a juicing retreat with celeb trainer Jason Vale, who whipped her in to shape with gruelling workouts and meal-replacement juices.

After insisting her body is 100 per cent natural, Carol shared the programme behind her amazing figure.

She said she alternates lower and upper body days at the gym with additional core exercises factored in.

Her lower body workout consists of goblet squats, forward lunges and glute raises with burpees in between exercises if she's feeling up to it.

To craft a strong core she does leg raises, side oblique dumbbell raises with glute raises, reverse crunches and a plank as extras.

The upper body day consists of shoulder press pyramids and frontal deltoid raises.
