Watch the trailer for I’m a Celebrity South Africa
In the latest advert for I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! Carol Vorderman and former soap star Helen Flanagan faced their first Bushtucker trials. The duo could be seen crawling on a plank which hung mid-air over the side of a mountain. Another trial saw the contestants tasked with eating animal body parts.
Carol was also filmed hundreds of metres above the ground, appearing to embark on a bungee jump.
The beginning of the clip saw the Countdown star standing on top of the mountain enjoying the views as she said: “Look at that, it is extraordinary.”
Ant could then be seen welcoming the stars to the camp, he told them: “Welcome to your new home for the next few weeks.
“You all survived the Australian jungle, but this is a whole new ballgame.”
As a clip from Carol’s trial played out, Dec continued: “You’re competing against each other.
“A series of trials and challenges for the right to remain in the camp.”
As they cut to Helen taking on a challenge, she said to herself: “You can do this.”
“One of you will become the first ever I’m A Celebrity legend,” Ant said.
“You’ve never seen a series like this before,” Dec concluded as a clip of Carol screaming was shown again. “Here on I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!”
Other celebrities joining Helen and Carol include Jordan Banjo, Gillian McKeith, Phil Tuffnell, Georgia Toffolo, Myleene Klass and Joe Swash.
Speaking ahead of the series, which will air later this month, Ant said: “It’s a question we always get asked…who would you bring back to the jungle?
“So to get this opportunity to make a brand new show in South Africa and put some of our previous campmates through their paces again was the dream.”
Dec added: “It’s bigger and wilder than we could have hoped for so viewers are in for a real treat!”
