Casualty trailer hints at Zoe Hanna’s return
BBC viewers went into meltdown after the official Twitter account of Casualty shared a rare behind-the-scenes snap, fuelling rumours of the programme’s imminent return.
Two months ago, it was announced that the medical drama series would be taking an extended break from television schedules.
Since then, viewers have been eager to find out when Casualty is returning, and it looks like it could be rather soon.
On X, formally known as Twitter, four cast members posed together in a selfie and added the caption: “Ready for another day on the road,” with an ambulance emoji.
BBC fans were sent into a frenzy and couldn’t help but take to the comments section.

A third said: “Please tell me we don’t have to wait until the new year before you’re back!”
A fourth chimed in: “When is Casualty back, miss not having it on my TV!”
A fifth penned: “They’re not going to air in the run up to Christmas schedule and go against the Jungle so my bet is, back on screen Jan 2024.”
