Daniel appeared in Celebrity Big Brother in a bid to change the public’s opinions of him.

He succeeded and afterwards told The Sun: “I think although I made mistakes with my content in the past I think because of the amount of press I got around it some people thought I was a bigot — sexist, racist, homophobic.

“I think Big Brother showed I'm someone who says stupid stuff but I'm just a normal person.

“Maybe it gave me a second chance.”

Dapper turned to drink and drugs after his career was cancelled due to offensive comments, but he is now sober.
