Celebrity Gogglebox stars break down in tears over gut-wrenching film scene | The Sun

THE cast of Celebrity Gogglebox broke down in tears over a gut-wrenching film scene during last night's episode.

Friday night saw the likes of Stacey Solomon and Joe Swash, Rylan and his mum Linda, and Loose Women stars Judi Love and Charlene White returned to our screens for another instalment of the Channel 4 show.

The famous faces watched programmes including The Baby, Million Pound Pawn, The Laundry Guy and The One That Got Away.

But one movie in particular pulled on a lot of the celeb's heart strings.

CODA, which was released last year, follows the life of a young girl called Ruby Rossi, who is the daughter of two deaf adults and the only hearing person in her family.

During last night's episode of Gogglebox, the celebs watched Ruby tell her parents that she wanted to move away from home and study music at university.

However the couple were concerned about her decision as she helps them run their fishing business.

In another scene they attend one of her performances, and despite not being able to hear it, they are overwhelmed with emotion as they take in the reaction from the rest of the audience.

Another touching moment from the film is when Ruby is on stage and the music cuts out so that those watching the film can experience how they would have experienced it.

But the emotional scenes don't stop there.

Later on Ruby's dad Frank asks his daughter to sing to him and she singsMarvin Gaye and Tammi Terrell's song You're All I Need to Get By – which perfectly describes her relationship with her parents.
