GOGGLEBOX will air as planned tonight on Channel 4, the broadcaster has confirmed.
Fans were in doubt the show would return as planned tonight for its 20th series following the death of Her Majesty The Queen.
In a statement, Channel 4 said they would broadcast the programme like planned to offer viewers an 'alternative' to the news.
The show sees ordinary folk become armchair critics as they watch television.
It will start as normal at 9pm.
"Channel 4 has made significant changes to our schedule, including added extended news coverage, to ensure that Channel 4 is respectful following the news from Buckingham Palace about the death of Her Majesty The Queen," said a spokesperson.

Broadcasters have been ripping up TV guides to give way to rolling coverage of The Queen's passing and the country's new King, Charles III.
ITV have announced Emmerdale and Coronation Street has been dropped from the schedule.
Meanwhile, EastEnders will air over on BBC Two this evening.
