Stand-in Lorraine host Christine Lampard was forced to apologise after a guest swore live on-air.

The TV fave, who was filling in for Lorraine Kelly, sat down with Made In Chelsea stars and husbands Ollie Locke and Gareth to talk about their latest bundles of joy.

The pair recently became fathers to twins, a boy and a girl, after a long journey to parenthood that took over three years.

But sitting down to talk to Christine, things took an awkward turn when Gareth dropped a major swear bomb.

Talking about upcoming guest on the show Shania Twain, Christine quizzed the boys on if they were fans.

"I met her actually, at The Brits," Gareth said.

He then added: "But I was bit p*ssed I can't rememebr what I said."

The swear word didn't go amiss from Christine who was quick to apologise to the show's loyal legion of viewers.

"Oh," Christine quipped, not knowing where to look.

She added to the viewers at home: "You know, he meant tipsy."

She then issued an apology and said: "Sorry everybody at home, apologise for that."

The two reality stars, who tied the knot in 2020, recently welcomed twins, Apollo Magnus Obi and Cosima Emily Bex, via their surrogate Rebecca 'Bex' Ward.

Ollie and Gareth have also launched their YouTube channel called Daddy Diaries, which follows the pair on their parenting journey.

Speaking to HELLO! magazine, Ollie said: 'The babies are here – this is what we've been waiting for. It's this wonderful moment when we know that we're the fathers we always wanted to be.

"The journey makes the end result all the more worthwhile and now they're here, it's the best gift."

Over on their YouTube, Ollie revealed the struggled the family had endured after the birth.

He said: "The babies were born six weeks ago. It has been a scary time, they have been in neonatal intensive care for quite a long time."

Gareth added: 'It was something we didn't want to share until we had them safe, back home with us and all part of the family. It is down to the amazing team in the neonatal units we've been in that means we've got the kids home now and the real daddying is about to begin."
