Coronation Street fans think they have figured out Stephen Reid's downfall due to a blunder he made on Monday night after murdering Leo Thompkins.
During the latest instalment, Leo was on a mission to prove that Stephen is a liar after learning that he had kissed his fiancée Jenny Connor when she was drunk and they had briefly split.
Leo decided to speak to the estate agent who was booked to value Audrey Roberts' house, before eavesdropping on a conversation with Gabrielle.
Confronting Stephen on the balcony behind the Underworld factory, Leo revealed he had heard every word and knew about his plan to get his hands on the equity from Audrey’s house to pay her back.
As Stephen followed him onto the factory gantry, Leo taunted him, threatening to call Audrey as well as the police.
To which Stephen snapped as he attacked Leo, pushing him off the balcony as he fell into the open bin below, unconscious.
And things went from bad to worse when Sarah Barlow came outside, to which Stephen then closed the bin and left Leo's body inside.
Later, Stephen was confronted by Carla Connor over leaving the gantry door open, as it triggered the alarm, which resulted in the police being called.
During the scene, the police pointed out they should watch back the CCTV of the factory, to which Carla revealed that it wasn't a break in but it was Stephen who had triggered the alarm.
At the end of the episode after the police had left, it was revealed that Leo was dead as Stephen moved and disposed of the body in chilling scenes.
Soap watchers were quick to point out Stephen's blunder that could lead to his downfall as they questioned why he would move a body directly in front of the factory's CCTV.
