Coronation Street: Blake and Chris attack Max in 2022
Coronation Street’s “ticking timebomb” Lauren Bolton (played by Cit Fitton) is set to be arrested in chaotic scenes, as the love triangle between her, Max Turner (Paddy Bever), and Sabrina Adetiba (Luana Santos) reaches its boiling point.
Fans of the ITV soap know that troubled Max has been torn between the two for a while, with his ex Lauren insisting she has changed her ways since landing him in trouble with the law for being part of an extremist group.
The lonely youngster has nobody to turn to and has been leaning on Max for support, but his new girlfriend Sabrina has been understandably jealous of the relationship between the two old flames.
In scenes set to air, Lauren gets between the couple by winding Sabrina up, as she pretends she and Max are an item.
Max assures Sabrina that Lauren is lying, but his girlfriend remains unsettled.

In a fit of rage, Lauren leaves her friendship with Max in pieces by trashing the salon, ultimately leading to the police arresting her on suspicion of causing criminal damage.
Could this be the wake-up call Lauren desperately needs?
Talking about the arrest, Lauren actress Cit explained: “I think it’s given her a taste of what her dad’s going through, it’s made her realise that the life she is currently living is a life that she doesn’t want for herself and is really disappointed by her behaviour.”

She added: “Lauren is a ticking time bomb, she will build things up because she hasn’t got anyone to release to.
“Coming back and realising that Max was with Sabrina was a kick in the stomach for Lauren.
“Max was really all she had as she obviously doesn’t have her dad around, doesn’t have a mum, hasn’t got any friends so she hasn’t got anyone she can release her anxiety or worries on.
“She builds everything up and then explodes and it’s only a matter of time before she does that.”
Coronation Street continues on Wednesday at 8pm on ITV.
